TCS, ManageEngine Join Hands to Expand AI Sovereign Cloud Adoption in India
The collaboration aims to help government institutions, public sector enterprises and private businesses migrate critical workloads, including AI applications, to the cloud while retaining control over their data and operations.
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has partnered with ManageEngine, the enterprise IT management division of Zoho Corporation, to expand the adoption of AI-enabled sovereign cloud services in India.
Under the partnership, ManageEngine’s enterprise IT management solutions will be deployed on TCS SovereignSecure Cloud™, the IT services company’s indigenous cloud offering.

The collaboration aims to help government institutions, public sector enterprises and private businesses migrate critical workloads, including AI applications, to the cloud while retaining control over their data and operations.
The partnership comes amid growing enterprise adoption of artificial intelligence and modernisation of critical technology infrastructure. Organisations handling sensitive information and essential services increasingly need to balance innovation with data residency, regulatory compliance and operational control.
TCS SovereignSecure Cloud is designed to help organisations modernise sensitive and critical workloads while maintaining data and operational sovereignty. ManageEngine’s enterprise IT management portfolio will complement the cloud infrastructure, enabling customers to manage IT operations, strengthen security and accelerate digital transformation.
“India is ready for the next phase of digital sovereignty, and the country’s technology companies have an important role to play in enabling it. We are pleased to partner with TCS to support sovereign cloud adoption across government, public sector and private enterprises. With more than two decades of experience in managing complex cloud infrastructures, we will help TCS and its customers operate their sovereign cloud workloads with confidence and reliability,” Rajesh Ganesan, ManageEngine CEO, said.
The companies said the combined offering would support the deployment and management of critical enterprise and AI workloads, while helping customers address governance and regulatory requirements. The initiative is also expected to strengthen the role of domestic technology providers in India's evolving cloud ecosystem.
“TCS SovereignSecure Cloud™ brings together secure cloud infrastructure, architecture and deployment capabilities to help customers address their sovereignty and regulatory requirements. By adding ManageEngine’s enterprise IT management capabilities to this ecosystem, we will help government, public sector and enterprise customers manage their cloud and AI workloads securely, reliably and at scale,” Satishchandra Doreswamy, TCS SovereignSecure Cloud VP, Global Head, said.
The partnership reinforces TCS’ efforts to strengthen India’s indigenous technology ecosystem as businesses and public institutions seek cloud infrastructure that supports AI adoption without compromising control over sensitive data and critical operations.
