InvoiceCloud Plans ₹350 Crore Investment to Expand Hyderabad Innovation Hub

Digital billing and payments provider InvoiceCloud has announced a three-year investment plan of approximately ₹350 crore to expand its global innovation hub in Hyderabad.

The investment will build on the contributions of the company’s India team to its global technology and product development efforts, including AI-powered customer services and platform engineering.

“Hyderabad is becoming a bigger part of how we build for our customers, and that’s being driven by the results the team is delivering. This investment gives us the people, technology and capacity to build on that progress over the next three years,” said Kevin O'Brien, InvoiceCloud CEO.

Since establishing its Hyderabad operations in 2024, InvoiceCloud has expanded its India workforce to more than 250 employees. The company expects the headcount to reach 300 by the end of 2026, with further growth planned over the next three years.

More than 70% of InvoiceCloud’s India employees work in engineering and product roles, contributing to AI, platform engineering and product development. The Hyderabad team is also advancing the company’s AI roadmap across customer experience, platform reliability and technology modernisation.

InvoiceCloud reported a 120% year-on-year increase in productivity per engineer, which it attributes largely to the adoption of AI tools and processes. The team also developed the company’s agentic AI-powered customer self-service capability, known as the Service Module, and launched it in less than six months.

“The team in Hyderabad took the Service Module, our agentic AI self-service capability for consumers, from development to launch in under six months. That's a good example of how we're combining strong engineering talent with AI to solve customer problems and move faster," said Biju Davis, InvoiceCloud SVP, India Site Leader.
