Food delivery company Swiggy has announced the launch of Swiggy Builders Club, a new initiative aimed at developers, startups, and enterprises building AI-native commerce solutions on its platform.

The announcement builds on Swiggy’s earlier MCP rollout, which exposed its core commerce infrastructure to AI systems. Builders Club now extends that effort by introducing a structured ecosystem layer, defining how developers can engage with Swiggy, contribute capabilities, and scale successful integrations into long-term partnerships.

At launch, the programme will provide access to three MCP servers and more than 18 APIs spanning Swiggy’s food delivery, Instamart, and Dineout services.

These tools will enable developers to build AI agents, copilots, and assistants capable of executing real-world actions such as ordering food, shopping groceries, and booking dining experiences.

Swiggy said the initiative is designed not just for API consumption but for deeper collaboration, positioning builders as contributors and early participants in its evolving AI ecosystem. Access will be invite-based, with applicants evaluated before being onboarded.

The platform is built on Amazon Web Services infrastructure, leveraging services such as Amazon Bedrock, AWS Trainium, and Bedrock AgentCore to provide scalable, enterprise-grade AI capabilities.

“The past few months have marked a fundamental shift in Swiggy's trajectory. With MCP, we opened our commerce infrastructure to AI systems. Builders Club is the next bold step- extending that access to developers and enterprises so they can build AI commerce applications at scale on top of Swiggy. We are moving from platform to ecosystem orchestrator, providing the foundational layer for AI-native commerce innovation. Built on AWS, with Amazon Bedrock and AgentCore, this gives our builder community enterprise-grade infrastructure from day one,” Madhusudhan Rao, Swiggy CTO, said.

"By combining Amazon Bedrock, AWS Trainium, and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, we're giving builders the infrastructure to innovate without limits—whether they're startups experimenting with new ideas or enterprises scaling production AI agents. This partnership demonstrates how open, flexible AI infrastructure can accelerate innovation across India's digital economy," Sandeep Dutta, AWS India and South Asia President, added.

In addition to API access, Builders Club offers engineering support, co-branding opportunities, and pathways to scale successful use cases, as Swiggy seeks to accelerate innovation in AI-led commerce.
