Google Cloud–Salesforce Tie-Up Lets Enterprises Deploy AI Agents Seamlessly Across Slack and Google Workspace
The collaboration introduces deeper integrations that allow businesses to deploy AI agents across tools such as Slack and Google Workspace
At its Cloud Next ’26 event in Las Vegas, Google Cloud and Salesforce announced an expanded partnership to enable AI agents to execute end-to-end workflows across both platforms, addressing long-standing challenges around fragmented data and disconnected enterprise systems.
The collaboration introduces deeper integrations that allow businesses to deploy AI agents across tools such as Slack and Google Workspace, powered by Salesforce’s Agentforce and Google’s Gemini Enterprise.
The goal is to create a unified system where AI can seamlessly operate across applications, reducing inefficiencies caused by context switching and minimising the need to move sensitive data.
“Businesses are ready to go all in on agentic AI, and that requires infrastructure and models that can operate across the entire enterprise. Our deepened partnership with Google Cloud gives joint customers exactly that, so they can deploy Agentforce across every part of their business and accelerate their Agentic Enterprise transformation,” said Srini Tallapragada, Salesforce President and Chief Engineering Officer.
The integration focuses on improving productivity by embedding AI directly into everyday workflows. Employees will be able to generate documents, analyse conversations, and execute tasks directly within Slack or Google Workspace, without switching between multiple tools.
Gemini Enterprise will also be accessible in Slack, serving as a real-time assistant that pulls insights from across enterprise systems.
“Our partnership with Salesforce allows customers to securely connect data across both platforms to accelerate business results and build a scalable foundation for the agentic era. With an enterprise-ready Salesforce agent in Gemini Enterprise, customers have a powerful new way to act on their data with speed and confidence,” said Karthik Narain, Google Cloud Chief Product and Business Officer.
The partnership also emphasises secure data integration, enabling AI agents to access enterprise data where it resides without requiring duplication, while delivering faster insights and automation at scale.
“At Wayfair, we’re building an Agentic Enterprise — embedding intelligent agents across our operations, from customer service to logistics, to help millions of people create their feeling of home. Salesforce and Google Cloud are key partners as we bring this vision to life,” said Fiona Tan, Wayfair CTO.
