SiMa.ai Raises $150 Mn at $1.45 Bn Valuation to Scale Physical AI
The new funding will be used to scale Palette Neat, SiMa.ai’s agentic software environment for Physical AI.
Physical AI startup SiMa.ai has raised $150 million in Series C funding at a valuation of $1.45 billion, taking its total capital raised to $500 million.
The new funding will be used to scale Palette Neat, SiMa.ai’s agentic software environment for Physical AI, while also supporting the development of its next-generation silicon.

SiMa.ai builds a full-stack platform for Physical AI, combining purpose-built silicon with software designed to run AI workloads on physical devices. The company is positioning its technology as an alternative to the expensive and power-intensive GPUs traditionally used for AI workloads, particularly at the edge.
“Physical AI in humanoids, automotive, and drones is the gateway to a $50 trillion market that has remained largely untouched by modern innovation. While others are still figuring out the pieces or repurposing their cloud offerings, we’ve built the entire puzzle. This investment will further catapult us into a dominant position, giving us the resources to scale our purpose-built platform and secure an undeniable lead in the Physical AI race,” said Krishna Rangasayee, SiMa.ai Founder and CEO.
The company plans to deliver hardware capable of 1,000 dense TOPS of compute, with products including machine learning IP, chiplets and systems-on-chip expected in the first half of 2028.
SiMa.ai said the new hardware will target medium- and high-end drones, humanoid robots, automotive advanced driver assistance systems and AI-powered cockpits. Existing customers will be able to migrate their applications to the company’s next-generation architectures.
The round was co-led by Fidelity Management & Research Company and Amplify, with participation from Alter Venture Partners, Dell Technologies Capital, Maverick Capital, +ND Capital, Point72 and StepStone Group. AllianceBernstein, Baron Capital, J.P. Morgan and the State of Michigan also joined the round as new investors.

"SiMa.ai has consistently proven its ability to out-innovate and out-execute the rest of the market, dramatically reducing the complexity of deploying advanced AI models on physical edge devices, and accelerating time to market for the world’s most sophisticated autonomous systems. We believe SiMa.ai has all the ingredients to become a category-defining, iconic technology company,” Mike Dauber, Amplify Partners General Partner, said.
"SiMa.ai is shattering that barrier. Its platform delivers the software agility and Physical AI-optimised compute that modern enterprises require to scale computer vision and autonomous capabilities. As investors, we view SiMa.ai as a critical silicon provider and enabler for the next evolution of distributed Physical AI infrastructure," Scott Darling, Dell Technologies Capital President and Managing Director, added.
