InMobi Names Aditya Kumar as Global Chief Information Security Officer

InMobi Group has appointed Aditya Kumar as its new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Kumar announced the appointment on LinkedIn, saying he would work with InMobi’s leadership and teams to strengthen cyber resilience, digital trust, security governance and risk management across the company’s global operations.

He added that security leadership goes beyond protecting technology and data and should also support business innovation and trust.

“I believe security leadership is not just about protecting technology and data; it is about enabling innovation, building trust, and giving the business the confidence to move forward securely.”

Kumar joins InMobi from Navi, where he served as CISO of Navi AMC and Head of Cyber Security for the Navi Group from February 2025 to September 2026. At Navi, he led cybersecurity strategy and operational governance in a regulated financial services environment, overseeing areas including identity and access management, endpoint security, data loss prevention, cloud security, security information and event management, and incident response.

Before Navi, Kumar spent nearly four years at First American (India), where he led enterprise cybersecurity operations and managed a team of more than 30 people across multiple security functions. His responsibilities included SOC governance, incident response, vulnerability management, security engineering and DevSecOps.

Kumar also spent more than four years at BT, progressing from a Global SOC specialist to Manager of the Global Security Operations Center. During his tenure, he led a 25-member team across India, the UK and the US and worked on the transformation and centralisation of global SOC operations.

Earlier in his career, Kumar held cybersecurity and infrastructure roles at IBM, Tata Consultancy Services, Tech Mahindra, Mphasis and Trimax.
