HubSpot is Turning its CRM into an AI-Powered Command Centre

HubSpot is unveiling a redesigned customer relationship management platform at its annual Unbound conference in Boston, bringing artificial intelligence deeper into its CRM to help businesses act on continuously updated customer and operational data.

The release includes an upgraded Breeze Assistant, a self-updating Smart CRM and a new “Context Home” designed to show businesses how complete their data is.

HubSpot said the system combines these capabilities to create what it calls “Growth Context,” bringing together information about prospects, employees and customers.

Salesforce Introduces AIforce to Turn Its CRM Into an AI-Native Interface Layer
AIforce forms a new layer in Salesforce’s broader “Agentic Enterprise” architecture.

The company said conventional AI tools can struggle to deliver useful business outcomes when they lack sufficient business context. Its Smart CRM is designed to automatically capture and synchronise information from calls, emails and meetings, while Context Home identifies missing information that could affect AI performance.

"We hear from customers every day that they don't want to think about which AI tools to use, they just want outcomes. So we reimagined HubSpot to be a platform that delivers those outcomes, and everything we unveiled today shows how AI can actually deliver real ROI when it understands your business," said Duncan Lennox, HubSpot Chief Product and Technology Officer.

Breeze Assistant is also being expanded beyond answering questions. Users can provide an objective, after which the assistant can select specialised AI agents to create proposals, reports, campaign plans and other materials using information from the CRM.

HubSpot is introducing Marketing Studio for marketers, which can identify issues including weak visibility in AI-powered answer engines, underperforming audience segments and leads that have not received follow-up. Breeze Assistant can then use content and campaign agents to develop programs, create materials and personalise customer nurturing.

The company also announced an integration with OpenAI’s ChatGPT Ads, allowing sponsored placements appearing below AI-generated responses to direct potential buyers to HubSpot landing pages.

Last year, it launched a new deep research connector powered by ChatGPT to enhance how over 250,000 businesses analyse customer data.

The integration allows teams in marketing, sales, support, and customer success to input CRM context into ChatGPT and receive actionable insights within their workflows.
