TCS to Modernise Dubai Gold Exchange With AI-Powered Trading Infrastructure
TCS will deploy an integrated technology platform designed to give DGCX greater flexibility, improve operational efficiency and enable faster development of new financial products.
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has partnered with the Dubai Gold & Commodities Exchange (DGCX) to overhaul the exchange’s trading, clearing and market surveillance infrastructure as it prepares to expand into new asset classes.
TCS will deploy an integrated technology platform designed to give DGCX greater flexibility, improve operational efficiency and enable faster development of new financial products. The infrastructure will also support the exchange’s efforts to serve a broader base of regional and international market participants.

The technology stack will combine several TCS platforms with solutions from external partners. It will include TCS BaNCS for Market Infrastructure for central counterparty clearing, Quartz for Surveillance to identify potential market manipulation, fraud and abnormal activity, and TCS BaNCS Securities Trading for multi-asset trading.
The implementation will also include TCS’ Quartz Gateway for market connectivity, alongside generative AI-powered reporting, analytics and decision-making capabilities.
“Through the combined power of TCS BaNCS, Quartz, and partner solutions, we are helping DGCX build a modern, scalable platform to accelerate growth, enable product innovation, and expand into next-generation asset classes,” R. Vivekanand, TCS President, BFSI Products and Platforms, added.
"Our partnership with Tata Consultancy Services will build the technology foundation for the next stage of our growth, strengthening our offering across energy, currencies, equities, and precious metals, while giving us greater capacity to develop and bring new products to market," Ahmed Bin Sulayem, DGCX Chairman and CEO, added.
The upgraded infrastructure will support DGCX’s derivatives markets spanning energy commodities, currencies, equities, bullion and precious metals. It is also expected to provide a foundation for expansion into emerging areas such as crypto and tokenised assets.
