Firstsource Launches ‘Kairos’ AI Operating System to Bridge Enterprise Execution Gap

Firstsource Solutions Limited has announced the launch of Kairos, a new artificial intelligence operating system designed to embed intelligence directly into enterprise workflows and deliver measurable outcomes.

Positioned as an “operating system powering Intelligence That Operates,” Kairos is built to design, execute, and manage agentic workflows across the full lifecycle of enterprise transformation—from strategy to execution—in a continuous and integrated manner.

The launch comes amid a widening gap between organisations successfully leveraging AI and those struggling to operationalise it. According to Firstsource, this divide has reached 540 basis points in operational performance, highlighting the growing importance of rethinking operating models rather than simply adding new technologies.

“Intelligence That Operates was the commitment. Kairos is the execution. Organisations today don't face a shortage of AI ambition — they face a surplus of it. And yet the gap between what AI can do and what enterprises actually get in production keeps widening. The barrier has never been the technology. It is the operating model,” said Ritesh Idnani, Firstsource CEO & Managing Director.

Kairos is designed as an embedded intelligence engine that integrates directly into enterprise operations, enabling end-to-end automation and accountability. Rather than functioning as an add-on layer, the platform aims to re-engineer how work is executed, aligning AI-driven processes with business outcomes.

“Kairos was built to close that gap — not as a layer added on top of existing operations but integrated within them — running agentic workflows from end to end, accountable for what comes out the other side. And we ran it on ourselves before we brought it to market, because if it couldn't perform inside Firstsource operations, it had no right to perform inside anyone else's,” Ritesh added.

The company said the platform has already been tested internally before being introduced to clients, reflecting a broader shift toward outcome-driven AI adoption.

With Kairos, Firstsource is positioning itself to help enterprises move beyond pilot projects and toward scalable, production-ready AI systems that deliver tangible business impact.
