WazirX Launches AI Agent That Can Research, Analyse & Execute Crypto Trades

WazirX has launched WazirX AI, an intelligent trading assistant designed to help cryptocurrency traders research markets, monitor portfolios and execute trades without switching between charts, news feeds, signal groups and trading screens.

The AI assistant is integrated into the WazirX app and website, allowing users to ask questions about market conditions, receive researched insights with supporting charts and approve trades through a single conversational interface.

Before a trade is placed, WazirX AI provides users with an updated view of their live portfolio and uses their stated risk preferences to recommend an appropriate position size.

“Crypto markets operate 24/7, but traders should not have to spend their day moving between charts, news feeds and trading screens. WazirX AI combines market research, portfolio monitoring and trade preparation into one conversation, reducing the time and effort required to evaluate an opportunity and act on it. The AI streamlines the workflow, and enables a faster and easier decision making process,” said Nischal Shetty, WazirX Founder.

The platform follows an “Ask-Understand-Decide” model, coordinating market data, technical analysis, portfolio information and order management across multi-step requests.

Users can ask WazirX AI for live prices, market news and macroeconomic developments, with responses accompanied by relevant charts. It can also generate portfolio briefings covering portfolio value, profit and loss and open positions, including daily morning updates.

The assistant also supports trade execution within conversations. Proposed trades are presented through an approval card, with position sizing based on the user's risk settings. Users can execute market and limit orders, short setups and trades subject to pair-specific leverage limits.

Another feature allows traders to create alerts using natural language. For example, users can ask the assistant to notify them if Bitcoin breaks a key support level. The system monitors the specified condition and sends an alert when it is triggered.

WazirX said the assistant can also screen INR futures based on criteria such as four-hour momentum and risk-reward thresholds before validating opportunities across multiple timeframes and preparing an order with entry price, leverage, margin, stop-loss, take-profit and estimated loss.

The exchange is also introducing a Paper Trading Sandbox, giving users a simulated $100,000 balance to test strategies and explore the research-to-trade workflow without risking real funds.
