TCS Expands Sovereign Cloud Push in Europe With AI-Powered Digital Autonomy Platform
TCS said the platform has been specifically designed for the European Union’s increasingly complex regulatory environment.
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has expanded its global cloud portfolio with the launch of SovereignSecure Cloud™ in Europe, targeting governments, public sector organisations and highly regulated industries.
The new offering combines sovereign cloud architecture with artificial intelligence capabilities to help European enterprises meet rising demands for digital autonomy, regulatory compliance and cybersecurity resilience while maintaining operational agility.
TCS said the platform has been specifically designed for the European Union’s (EU) increasingly complex regulatory environment.
The solution uses a multi-layered architecture that includes a sovereign cloud layer powered through hyperscalers, a national sovereign cloud layer enabling country-specific localisation and an enterprise cloud services layer managed through the company’s EU-specific Enterprise Cloud Framework.
The framework allows organisations to dynamically apply different levels of sovereignty and security controls based on workload sensitivity, sector requirements and operational risk.

Alongside the launch, TCS introduced its Sovereignty Consulting and Delivery Framework in Europe to help enterprises identify the minimum level of sovereign protection required for different workloads instead of applying blanket restrictions across all systems.
The European rollout follows earlier launches of SovereignSecure Cloud in India, Kenya and the Philippines.
