Naukri Launches AI-Powered Recruitment Platform To Streamline Hiring

Naukri, India's largest job portal, has launched a new AI-powered recruitment platform to help recruiters hire faster while improving job discovery for candidates.
The platform introduces a suite of AI-driven hiring tools led by AI REX, an autonomous talent-sourcing solution, that automates key stages of the recruitment process, from understanding job requirements to sourcing, screening, and shortlisting candidates.
Unlike conventional recruitment tools that primarily rely on keyword-based searches, AI REX analyses job descriptions alongside candidates' skills and professional experience to identify suitable matches.

In addition to AI REX, the company has launched AI-assisted search, intelligent candidate recommendations, and automated shortlisting capabilities to simplify recruitment workflows and improve hiring accuracy.
The platform will also enhance the experience for job seekers by recommending roles that align more closely with their skills, experience, and career aspirations, helping them discover relevant opportunities more efficiently.
The launch comes as demand for AI talent continues to rise across India. According to Naukri's latest JobSpeak Report, hiring for AI roles in the IT sector increased 16% year-on-year in June, despite overall IT hiring declining 3% during the same period. Across industries, demand for professionals with AI and machine learning skills grew 25%, reflecting wider adoption of AI across business functions.
With enterprises increasingly embracing AI to automate operations, Naukri expects intelligent recruitment tools to play a larger role in modern hiring.
