YouTube India Appoints Gunjan Soni as Managing Director
Previously, she served as the Group CEO at fashion e-commerce platform ZALORA

YouTube has named Gunjan Soni as its Country Managing Director for India, effective April 28, 2025.
She succeeds Ishan Chatterjee, who exited in 2024 to join JioCinema. Soni brings over 20 years of leadership experience across business, technology, e-commerce, and marketing.
Before this, she was Group CEO at fashion e-commerce platform ZALORA in Singapore and previously held leadership roles at Star India, Myntra, and McKinsey & Company.
Based in Mumbai, she will drive YouTube’s growth and strategic initiatives in one of its largest markets globally.
"Her impressive tenure as Group CEO at ZALORA, coupled with key roles at Myntra, Star India, and McKinsey speaks volumes about her capabilities. She has received several external recognitions like Fortune 40 under 40 and serves on the board of CBRE Group a Fortune 500 company.
