GoDaddy Launches AI-Powered Airo for WordPress to Simplify Website Creation and Management

GoDaddy has launched Airo for WordPress, a new AI-powered platform that simplifies website creation and management for businesses and agencies that use WordPress.

The company said Airo for WordPress is designed to help users build, manage, and grow WordPress websites through AI-driven tools integrated directly into the native WordPress dashboard.

The platform combines AI-powered website creation, editing, managed infrastructure, and workflow tools intended for agencies and small businesses.

With the new offering, users can create and launch a fully functional WordPress website within minutes using a conversational chat interface. GoDaddy said the platform also supports ongoing website updates and optimizations, extending AI capabilities beyond initial site setup.

“Small businesses and agencies have long faced a tradeoff where website builders are easy but limiting, while WordPress is powerful but complex. Airo for WordPress eliminates that by bringing the speed and simplicity of AI together with the flexibility and ownership of WordPress,” said Bhala Dalvi, GoDaddy Vice President, Engineering.

The platform includes features such as AI-generated blog and webpage creation, automatic plugin installation and configuration, and AI-powered website updates. GoDaddy also said Airo for WordPress delivers page-load speeds up to twice as fast as competing offerings.

The company highlighted that users can seamlessly switch between AI-assisted workflows and the native WordPress editor without relying on a separate builder interface. The platform also supports WooCommerce storefront creation through a single AI-driven conversation.

GoDaddy said Airo for WordPress is aimed at entrepreneurs, small businesses, and agencies managing multiple websites.

The offering provides access to more than 60,000 WordPress plugins while allowing customers to retain full ownership of their websites and data without platform lock-in.
