Databricks Appoints Ex-Microsoft Leader Corrie Briscoe to Head APJ Partnerships and Alliances
Briscoe joins Databricks from AWS, where she led the APJ Partner Core organisation, overseeing partner programmes, strategic investments, and go-to-market initiatives.
Databricks has appointed Corrie Briscoe as Vice President of Partnerships and Alliances for Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ), to strengthen its leadership team as enterprises across the region ramp up investments in artificial intelligence.
Based in Singapore, Briscoe will lead Databricks' partner ecosystem across APJ, working with cloud providers, systems integrators, independent software vendors (ISVs), and technology partners to help organisations build and scale AI applications, analytics, and AI agents.
Briscoe joins Databricks from AWS, where she led the APJ Partner Core organisation, overseeing partner programmes, strategic investments, and go-to-market initiatives.
She previously held leadership positions at Microsoft and Cisco, bringing nearly three decades of experience in building and expanding technology partner ecosystems across Asia-Pacific.
The appointment comes as businesses in the region increasingly adopt agentic AI but face challenges such as fragmented data environments, shortages of AI-skilled talent, and evolving regulatory requirements.
Databricks has also expanded its partner strategy with the launch of the Brickbuilder Partner Network (BPN), a global initiative to reward partners for delivering enterprise AI implementations. The company currently works with more than 8,000 partners worldwide, including over 1,000 in APJ.
