Apna Launches India’s First AI Interview Prep Lounge to Help Job Seekers Build Career-Ready Skills
The initiative brings AI-powered career preparation directly into a physical learning environment, making advanced interview support accessible to job seekers.
Apna, India’s leading AI-native early-career talent platform, has launched the country’s first AI Interview Prep Lounge at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Kaushalya Vikas Kendra (ABVKVK) in Kandivali East, Mumbai. Piyush Goyal, Hon’ble Union Minister of Commerce & Industry, inaugurated the facility.
The new centre aims to bridge the gap between skill development and employment by using artificial intelligence to help candidates prepare for interviews, identify opportunities and improve their chances of securing jobs.
The initiative brings AI-powered career preparation directly into a physical learning environment, making advanced interview support accessible to job seekers.
“The Apna AI-enabled Interview Centre represents the future of skill development and employment generation. By leveraging Artificial Intelligence to identify opportunities, bridge skill gaps and prepare candidates for the evolving job market, this initiative will empower our youth to build successful careers and contribute meaningfully to India’s journey towards Viksit Bharat 2047,” Goyal said.
The Lounge features three AI-powered interview preparation kiosks developed by Apna, marking the first such deployment in India. The platform has also been integrated into ABVKVK’s weekly walk-in hiring drives, allowing candidates to prepare for interviews and discover job opportunities through a single journey.
The AI-powered system enables candidates to practise role-specific mock interviews, receive instant feedback and prepare for more than 25,000 job roles across companies. The service supports multiple languages and will be available free of cost to candidates visiting the centre.
“At Apna, our ambition extends beyond connecting people with jobs. We want to build the infrastructure that helps individuals succeed throughout their careers. As technology reshapes the world of work, access to guidance, preparation, and opportunity must become universal. The AI Interview Prep Lounge reflects our belief that every job seeker should have the tools and support needed to realise their potential,” said Nirmit Parikh, Apna Founder & Group CEO.
The company said the initiative addresses a major challenge faced by first-time job seekers — lack of structured interview preparation. Apna plans to expand the model across skilling institutions, educational campuses and workforce development ecosystems.
