Zuvees Raises $1.6 mn to Expand AI-Driven Cross-Border Gifting Business
The company plans to leverage the fresh capital to strengthen its AI capabilities.
Dubai-based gifting platform Zuvees has raised Rs. 15 crore (approximately $1.6 million) from IvyCap Ventures as part of its ongoing Series A round, taking its total funding to Rs. 30 crore (approximately $3.3 million).
The company plans to leverage the fresh capital to strengthen its AI capabilities and accelerate its vision of building a globally trusted cross-border gifting platform.
The startup is targeting a total Series A raise of Rs. 60-80 crore and will use the funds to expand its AI-powered personalisation engine, enhance customer intelligence capabilities, strengthen its supply-chain infrastructure, and enter major global metropolitan markets.
Founded by Vijaykumar Ghadge and Abhishek Daiya, Zuvees is positioning itself at the intersection of artificial intelligence and e-commerce through what it calls "Gifting 3.0" — a model that combines AI-driven recommendations, curated products, and rapid fulfillment to address longstanding challenges in the gifting industry.
The company aims to solve one of the sector's biggest pain points: the trust gap between what customers expect and what recipients ultimately receive, particularly in cross-border gifting scenarios.
"We are also witnessing a structural shift in consumer behavior. Gifting is moving from a planned activity to an on-demand experience. People no longer want to celebrate tomorrow. They want to celebrate now. The future belongs to platforms that can combine trust, personalization, and speed, and that's precisely what we're building," said Vijaykumar Ghadge, Zuvees Co-Founder & CEO.
A key differentiator for the company is its proprietary AI layer, which analyzes gifting intent, recipient preferences, cultural context, and purchase behavior to generate highly personalized recommendations.
"We are building a proprietary AI layer that understands gifting intent, recipient preferences, purchase behavior, cultural context, and occasion-specific signals to deliver hyper-personalised recommendations at scale," said Abhishek Daiya, Zuvees Co-Founder & CPO/CFO.
Launched commercially in the UAE in early 2025, Zuvees has already achieved an annualised revenue run-rate exceeding $3 million and serves customers across more than 50 countries.
"What attracted us to Zuvees is its ability to address a global consumer need through a technology-led platform. As gifting becomes increasingly cross-border, the company is uniquely positioned to deliver trusted, personalized experiences at scale," said Vikram Gupta, IvyCap Ventures Founder & Managing Partner.
