Tenable Launches Hexa AI to Automate Exposure Management and Counter AI-Driven Threats

Tenable has introduced Tenable Hexa AI, a new agentic AI engine designed to automate security workflows and help enterprises proactively reduce cyber risk as attack surfaces expand.

The solution is part of the Tenable One Exposure Management Platform and aims to address the growing complexity of cybersecurity operations. With AI-powered attacks accelerating and vulnerabilities being exploited faster than ever, organisations are struggling to keep pace using traditional, fragmented tools.

Tenable Hexa AI acts as an orchestration engine, using contextual data from Tenable’s Exposure Data Fabric to analyse how vulnerabilities, identities, assets and AI systems interact across environments. This enables it to prioritise risks and coordinate remediation efforts at machine speed, shifting security teams away from reactive responses.

"Tenable Hexa AI marries an agentic orchestration engine to the powerful contextual exposure data fabric of Tenable One, automating complex tasks and orchestrating fixes across the enterprise, neutralising exposures before they’re exploited," said Eric Doerr, Chief Product Officer at Tenable.

Early adopters report efficiency gains. “Tenable Hexa AI has fundamentally shifted how we deploy our security resources, powering and scaling efficiency across workflows. Reclaiming two days a month on a single process like asset tagging is a massive win for our team,” Tarek Houni, Head of Exposure Management at a French-based international manufacturing company.

The platform includes capabilities such as automated workflows, custom AI agents and out-of-the-box tools to manage risks across IT, cloud and AI environments.
