Manus today unveiled its new Cloud Browser, a browser tool that retains your login sessions in the cloud and can carry out web-based tasks on your behalf. The feature is now available as a research preview for all users.

After you manually log in to a website once, Manus encrypts and saves your session data—such as cookies and local storage—and securely uploads it to its servers. With your permission, this login state is reloaded in future sessions so automated workflows don’t get interrupted by expired sessions.

Because the login data is stored in the cloud, your session can synchronize across multiple devices, provided you’re signed into Manus with the same account.

To protect your data, Manus offers an explicit sign-out option: under “Cookies and website data – Delete all” in Cloud Browser settings, you can wipe your login details from all sessions.

On the security front, Manus has several safeguards. It requires users to take control whenever sensitive information is entered—such as passwords or payment data—and prompts for explicit confirmation before performing major actions.

All login data is strongly encrypted locally before being stored, and Manus promises zero use of your data for model training.

To address potential misuse, the company employs content moderation systems, blending automated detection with human oversight. Users can flag issues, and Manus says they will review and respond to legitimate appeals.
