Sarvam Launches Samvaad, a Conversational AI Platform for Indian Languages
Samvaad supports interactions across phone, WhatsApp, web, and apps

Sarvam AI has unveiled Samvaad, a conversational AI platform designed to help enterprises swiftly build, test, and deploy AI agents fluent in 11 Indian languages.
Samvaad supports interactions across phone, WhatsApp, web, and apps, handles complex language inputs, delivers real-time insights, and offers India-friendly pricing.
Engineered for rapid deployment and scale, Samvaad is positioned as a production-ready solution with India-specific pricing models.
Sarvam claims several leading Indian enterprises are already using the platform at scale, moving from pilot to production within days.
This launch follows the company’s release of Sarvam-Translate, an open-weights translation model fine-tuned on Gemma3-4B-IT.
Supporting 22 Indian languages—including Tamil, Assamese, and Manipuri—the model is optimised for long-form translation across LaTeX, HTML, and OCR documents.
Sarvam was the first startup selected under the IndiaAI Mission to build a sovereign foundational LLM and recently launched Sarvam-M, a 24-billion parameter hybrid language model based on Mistral Small. It supports 10 Indian languages, including Hindi, Bengali, and Kannada.
