SaaS Startup Atomicwork Launches Multimodal AI Solution Called Universal Agent
The new agent features voice-enabled video support and aims to reduce ticket volumes by 60% for service teams in IT, HR

Software-as-a-service (SaaS) startup Atomicwork has launched Universal Agent, a multimodal AI solution designed to provide context-aware support across enterprise applications and devices.
The new agent features voice-enabled video support and aims to reduce ticket volumes by 60% for service teams in IT, HR, business operations, and finance, while boosting end-user satisfaction by 25%, the company said.
Universal Agent integrates seamlessly with employee workflows through platforms like Microsoft Teams, Slack, and email.
“Legacy ITSM was built for managing tickets. Atomicwork is built to eliminate them. With Universal AI at the core, we’re moving from systems of record to systems that act,” said Vijay Rayapati, Co-founder and CEO of Atomicwork.
Unlike traditional ITSM tools that require manual ticket creation, Universal Agent proactively supports users via their preferred communication channels. It leverages Voice AI for conversational guidance, Vision AI for real-time video diagnostics, and Work AI to automate end-to-end business processes, enhancing productivity and enabling self-service.
Earlier this year, the San Francisco-headquartered startup secured $25 million in Series A funding, led by Khosla Ventures and Z47 (formerly Matrix Partners), with participation from Battery Ventures, Blume Ventures, and Peak XV Partners. The funding comes amid growing investor enthusiasm for SaaS companies with strong AI roadmaps.
It plans to leverage the funds to expand its go-to-market initiatives, enhance integration capabilities with enterprise systems, and support large-scale deployments.
