Mumbai, October 7, 2025 — Proximus Global, a leading digital communications company, has announced the launch of Konera, a new network API aggregation platform designed to connect mobile operators, enterprises, and developers through a single, unified ecosystem. The platform aims to make global connectivity easier and faster by bringing multiple operator APIs together under one roof.

Aligned with the GSMA’s CAMARA initiative, Konera — combining “connection” and “era” — simplifies how businesses access communications and identity features across networks.

With this platform, enterprises can build new digital services and fintech solutions more efficiently, while operators can create new revenue streams from their network capabilities.

“India’s digital economy is thriving and primed for growth, with a vibrant developer ecosystem and a strong appetite for scalable, secure, and interoperable solutions,” said Rajdip Gupta, Managing Director & CEO of Route Mobile, a Proximus Global company. “Through Konera we’re building on Proximus Global’s established foundation to unlock new monetization opportunities for operators and seamless integration for enterprises.”

Gupta added, “This is just the beginning: as a global tech innovation hub, India is setting the pace for network API adoption, and Proximus Global is ready to help enterprises worldwide realize the full potential of programmable communications.”

Proximus Global already works with over 100 global enterprises, supported by 70 operators across 20 countries. In India, the company plans to make Konera available to 92% of the country by the end of 2025, in partnership with leading telecom operators.

“Network APIs have long been seen as the telecoms industry’s next big opportunity, turning network assets into programmable components that developers can easily use,” said Jorn Vercamert, Chief Product Officer at Proximus Global. “Konera delivers on both fronts — helping operators get API-ready and giving enterprises a single platform to build and innovate.”

By combining the strengths of Telesign, BICS, and Route Mobile, Proximus Global is reimagining the future of communication and digital identity. The company’s global network already supports over 5 billion subscribers and 180 billion secure transactions every year, positioning it as a major enabler of the AI-powered, API-driven connectivity era.
