Krutrim Unveils AI Agent That Gets Things Done
Kruti completes actions end-to-end with minimal user input, using voice or text commands in 13 Indian languages.

AI unicorn Krutrim has launched Kruti, an agentic AI assistant designed to perform real-world tasks like booking cabs, ordering food, paying bills, creating images, and conducting deep research.
Unlike traditional chatbots, Kruti completes actions end-to-end with minimal user input, using voice or text commands in 13 Indian languages.
Powered by Krutrim’s V2 large language model and enhanced with open-source tech, Kruti features personalisation, memory, and a read-aloud option. It learns user habits over time and integrates with platforms like Ola to deliver services directly.
Founder Bhavish Aggarwal said Kruti is built for how Indians live—“multilingual, mobile-first, and intuitive.” Developers can also embed it into apps via its SDK.
At its core is agentic intelligence: a system of AI agents that break down user commands and execute tasks through intelligent coordination.
With Model Context Protocol (MCP), Kruti connects directly to APIs and databases—making it a seamless, all-in-one AI assistant for everyday needs.
A recent report suggests that Krutrim’s broader AI stack—its LLMs and cloud services—has struggled to gain traction among developers and startups. Feedback points to weak documentation and technical maturity as key hurdles
By eliminating app‑switching and offering task‑oriented assistance tailored for Indian users, Kruti hopes to reshape how everyday AI is experienced.
