HTC Unveils Vive Eagle: AI-Powered Smart Glasses with Camera, Voice Assistant & Real-Time Translation
Priced at approximately $520, the Vive Eagle is available for pre-order in Taiwan from August 14 to 31.

HTC Corp. has launched its latest innovation in wearable tech with the Vive Eagle, a lightweight pair of AI-enabled smart glasses aimed at redefining daily convenience through immersive features.
With the launch of Vive Eagle, HTC enters direct competition with Meta, whose AI-powered smart glasses already lead the wearable tech space. Both companies are now vying to define the future of intelligent eyewear through innovation, design, and utility.
Earlier this year, it was reported that Apple is preparing to launch AI-powered smart glasses by late 2026. The glasses will feature cameras, microphones, speakers, and integration with Siri, supporting phone calls, music playback, live translations, and navigation.
Priced at approximately $520, the Vive Eagle is available for pre-order in Taiwan from August 14 to 31, with retail availability starting September 1. Global availability is yet to be confirmed.
Weighing under 49 grams, the glasses come with a 12MP ultra-wide camera, AI voice assistant, speakers, and microphones, seamlessly integrated into everyday eyewear. The device supports photography, videography, real-time translation in 13 languages, music playback, note-taking, and web searches.
“Vive Eagle represents HTC’s newest exploration in the realm of intelligent living and personal wearables,” said Charles Huang, SVP of HTC. “This product is more than just a pair of glasses — it’s a way to live life with greater freedom.”
Powered by onboard AI, users can access assistants like ChatGPT and Gemini via voice command — e.g., “Hey Vive, take a photo.” It also supports magnetic fast charging, offering 50% charge in 10 minutes and up to 4.5 hours of continuous use.
