Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) giant Salesforce is preparing to unveil AI agents capable of human-like conversations at its flagship event, Dreamforce, next week, according to sources familiar with the matter who spoke to The Left Shift. The three-day event is scheduled to take place in San Francisco, from October 14-16.
Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff is expected to reveal the same during the keynote on October 14. The upgraded voice capabilities are crafted to interpret spoken language more intuitively, recognising subtle cues and emotional tones to provide responses that are both relevant and empathetic. While the voice agents will be available in English initially, Salesforce will add more languages as the product rolls out worldwide.
The new capabilities will be integrated into Agentforce, Salesforce’s AI agent-building platform that was first introduced at Dreamforce 2024.
At the same time, Salesforce is expected to unveil a newer iteration of Agentforce, platforms specifically built to create autonomous AI agents capable of handling tasks across sales, marketing, and other business functions.
For instance, 'Agentforce for Marketing' will allow marketing teams to autonomously plan and execute campaigns — from audience segmentation and content generation to performance tracking and optimisation — all while adapting in real-time to customer behavior and engagement patterns.
At Dreamforce, Salesforce is also expected to bring newer Agentforce to all its products, including Mulesoft, Tableau, and Slack. Existing customers of these applications can expect more agentic AI capabilities like automating complex workflows, providing intelligent insights, and enabling natural language interactions.
Moreover, Salesforce is speculated to bolster its partnership with Google. Earlier this year, the company announced that Agentforce uses Google’s Gemini models, allowing agents to work with images, audio, and video, handle more complex tasks using Gemini’s multi-modal capabilities, and two-million-token context windows. Notably, Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai is scheduled to make an appearance at Dreamforce.
Earlier this year, the San Francisco-headquartered company announced that Agentforce crossed $1.2 billion in annual recurring revenue (ARR) in Q2 FY2026, reflecting a swift adoption of AI agents across its enterprise customer base.
The company also reported closing over 12,500 Agentforce deals, more than half of which are paid, signaling growing market trust in its intelligent automation capabilities.
