Cybersecurity firm ESET has announced the launch of two new Managed Detection and Response (MDR) subscription tiers aimed at strengthening cyber resilience across the Asia Pacific (APAC).

The offerings—ESET PROTECT MDR for small and medium businesses (SMBs) and ESET PROTECT MDR Ultimate for enterprises—are now available in markets including Hong Kong, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand, following earlier rollouts in India, Australia and Singapore.

The new MDR tiers are designed to deliver round-the-clock protection, combining endpoint, email and cloud security with vulnerability detection, patching, and managed threat monitoring. The enterprise-focused Ultimate tier adds proactive threat hunting, deeper visibility and remote digital forensic incident response support.

ESET said its MDR services help bridge this gap by combining AI-driven automation with human expertise and global threat intelligence. The platform delivers a reported mean time to respond (MTTR) of just six minutes, significantly faster than the industry average detection time of several days.

“Cyber threats are evolving in both speed and sophistication, particularly across highly digitalised economies in APAC,” said Parvinder Walia, President of APAC Region, ESET. “Our AI-powered MDR services bring together automation, human expertise and global threat intelligence to help organisations stay ahead of attacks rather than react to them. In today’s environment, the ability to detect and respond within minutes can be the difference between a minor incident and a significant breach.”

ESET also highlighted support for managed service providers (MSPs), offering a unified, always-on security service to help protect both providers and their clients from rising supply-chain risks.

Last month, the company unveiled a major update to its ESET PROTECT Platform with the launch of Cloud Workload Protection, a new module aimed at securing cloud environments as enterprises accelerate adoption of artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure.
