Edgehax Raises ₹1.39 Cr to Take on NVIDIA and Raspberry Pi in Global Edge AI Race

Edgehax, a Bengaluru-based Edge AI computing startup, has raised ₹1.39 crore in seed funding from Inflection Point Ventures (IPV). The fresh capital will be used to scale manufacturing, accelerate new product development, and fuel international expansion into markets such as Singapore, the US, and Europe.

The startup, previously called Bharat Pi, already competes with global players such as NVIDIA Jetson, Qualcomm Robotics RB5, and Raspberry Pi. Now, it aims to position itself as a key player in the growing edge AI ecosystem.

Founded in 2025 by Prabhu Stavarmath and Savitri Patil, Edgehax develops modular edge hardware that integrates compute, connectivity, and storage into a single board. The platform allows startups, OEMs, and enterprises to design and deploy hardware products faster while reducing dependence on overseas supply chains.

Edgehax has already built traction, serving over 150 enterprises and distributing developer kits to more than 100,000 students and faculty across 30 universities and IITs, strengthening India’s skilling ecosystem. Its hardware is applied in industrial gateways, autonomous vehicles, humanoid robots, drones, defense systems, and 4G/5G connectivity, with its in-house DvarOS powering industrial edge gateways.

The startup recently won the NXP Silicon Seeds Startup Program 2025 to create low-cost Edge AI compute modules for automotive and consumer IoT, and also secured the MeitY Bhashini Startup Velocity 1.0 award.
