CleanStart Expands Docker Hub Offerings with Daily-Updated Secure Images for Developers

CleanStart, a company that delivers hardened, vulnerability-free container images, has expanded its Docker Hub community by offering over 50 free, vulnerability-free container images refreshed daily.

The move aims to help developers build secure applications with the latest updates and dependencies, especially amid rising software supply chain threats.

The company said its automated refresh process ensures all packages are updated within 24 hours, maintaining “Near-Zero CVE” images. Since launch, the community images have surpassed 100,000 pulls, reflecting rapid adoption among global developers, including India’s fast-growing DevSecOps ecosystem.

“Developers today want to focus on innovation, not on worrying whether their base images are safe or current,” said Vijendra Katiyar, Co-founder and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at CleanStart. “Our daily-refreshed hardened images bring trust and transparency back to open-source development and the strong adoption on Docker Hub shows the community was ready for it.”

The initiative aligns with India’s regulatory push toward stronger cybersecurity. The Reserve Bank of India’s guidelines on IT governance and third-party risk emphasize secure software components and vulnerability management—areas where CleanStart’s solutions play a crucial role.
