CleanStart Debuts CERT-In & CISA-Compliant SBOM Analyzer for Container Security
The SBOM Analyzer provides deeper component discovery, detailed dependency mapping, and automated data maintenance
CleanStart, provider of hardened and compliance-ready container images, has launched its SBOM Analyzer worldwide — a new tool designed to generate complete, CERT-In and CISA-compliant Software Bills of Materials (SBOMs) for containerized environments.
The company says the tool offers unprecedented visibility into software components and dependencies, enabling organizations to strengthen supply chain security well before applications reach production.
Integrated directly into CleanStart’s platform, the SBOM Analyzer provides deeper component discovery, detailed dependency mapping, and automated data maintenance, updated continuously through the company’s 24-hour image refresh cycle.
“Our Analyzer simplifies this process by embedding compliance at the image level helping developers and CISOs meet national and international standards without adding friction to development workflows,” said Vijendra Katiyar, Co-founder & Chief Revenue Office, CleanStart.
The SBOM Analyzer aligns with global and national mandates, including CERT-In’s 2025 requirements for documenting software and hardware components to enhance cybersecurity traceability and supply chain resilience.
CleanStart says the tool goes beyond baseline compliance by adding enriched metadata — including timestamps, author information, and provenance — to improve validation and audit readiness.
Building on this foundation, the company has also introduced an AI-SBOM module that analyzes LLM-based components in enterprise AI applications, detecting hidden dependencies and risks often missed by conventional scanners.
With continuous mapping and automated updates, CleanStart aims to make SBOM accuracy and compliance effortless for enterprises operating in increasingly complex software ecosystems.
Founded by Nilesh Jain, Vijendra Katiyar, and Biswajit De, each with over 18 years of global cybersecurity leadership, CleanStart helps enterprises accelerate innovation while meeting the strictest security and compliance standards.
The company operates globally with headquarters in APAC and expanding operations in India and the U.S.
