Bharti Airtel has announced a strategic partnership with AI-powered search engine Perplexity, offering all 360 million of its mobile, Wi-Fi, and DTH users a free 12-month Perplexity Pro subscription, valued at ₹17,000.
Perplexity is an advanced AI search and answer engine that delivers real-time, deeply researched, and conversational responses. While the platform offers a free version with robust capabilities, the Pro tier includes access to advanced AI models like GPT-4.1 and Claude, image generation, file uploads, deep research, and Perplexity Labs—tools designed for professionals and power users.
Airtel customers can claim the subscription via the Airtel Thanks App, making this Perplexity’s first-ever partnership with an Indian telecom operator.
