# Upscale AI Eyes $200 Mn Funding at $2 Bn Valuation

AI infrastructure startup Upscale AI is [reportedly in talks to raise $180–$200 million](https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2026-04-16/tiger-global-backed-upscale-ai-in-talks-for-2-billion-valuation?srnd=homepage-americas&ref=theleftshift.com) in a new funding round, valuing the company at around $2 billion, according to *Bloomberg*. 

The startup has already secured $200 million in Series A funding in January and a [$100 million seed round at launch in September](https://www.theleftshift.com/upscale-ai-launches-with-100-mn-seed-round-to-build-open-standard-ai-networking-infrastructure/), with backing from Tiger Global Management, Xora Innovation, and Premji Invest. 

Despite not yet launching a product, the company is focused on custom AI chips and full-stack infrastructure, reflecting rapid valuation growth trends in the AI sector.
