Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has launched TCS Pace Port™ São Paulo, a new AI-powered Research & Innovation Centre located at Insper’s Vila Olímpia campus.

Spanning more than 1,000 square meters, the hub is designed as a collaborative space for enterprises, academia, startups, and partners to accelerate innovation across Brazil and Latin America.

The centre marks a significant expansion of TCS’ global network of Pace Ports, which already operate in the US, France, the UK, Singapore, and Japan.

With the partnership, Insper joins TCS’ worldwide innovation ecosystem, which includes leading institutions such as Cornell, MIT, and Imperial College. The collaboration aims to combine Insper’s academic strength with TCS’ deep expertise in technology research to tackle complex social and market challenges.

Guilherme Martins, President of Insper, said, “This centre with TCS creates opportunities for our community to innovate, tackle complex problems, and help deliver positive outcomes for Brazil and Latin America.”

The new centre aligns with Insper’s mission to advance rigorous, impact-oriented research and strengthen its vibrant urban campus.

Rodrigo Amantea, Head of the Paulo Cunha Innovation and Entrepreneurship Hub at Insper, added, “The inauguration of the new space… reinforces the mission of driving Brazil’s transformation through innovation… and expand the learning opportunities and experiences we provide to our students.”

The hub will feature AI, cybersecurity, robotics, and prototyping labs, enabling enterprises to co-create solutions using TCS Pace™ methodologies.
