TCS Expands €550 mn Strategic Partnership with Tryg to Drive Digital Transformation Across Scandinavia

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced a major expansion of its long-standing partnership with Tryg, one of Scandinavia’s leading non-life insurance companies. Under a seven-year €550 million agreement, TCS will help streamline Tryg’s IT operations and accelerate its digital transformation journey across Denmark, Sweden, and Norway.

The partnership will see TCS leverage its AI and Cloud-powered solutions to simplify operations, unify fragmented systems, and enhance customer experience for Tryg’s more than six million customers. TCS will take full ownership of application development, infrastructure services, end-user services, and cybersecurity, supporting Tryg’s ‘United Towards 27’ vision.

“We are simplifying our IT landscape enabling us to further invest in new technology and develop our business across Scandinavia. This means we can deliver the best customer experiences, continue to differentiate Tryg in the market, and strengthen our competitiveness. The extended partnership with TCS, which is one of the leading technology companies in the world, is a key initiative supporting our 2027 target to simplify and scale Tryg’s business,” Johan Kirstein Brammer, Group CEO, Tryg, said.
K Krithivasan, CEO of TCS, added, “The key to long-term value creation lies in building perpetually adaptive enterprises enabled by intelligent, future-ready IT systems… We are proud of this long-standing partnership that has brought key innovations in the European insurance space.”

With a presence in the Nordics for over 30 years, TCS continues to strengthen its leadership in digital transformation across industries, reaffirming its role as a trusted technology partner for regional growth.
