Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has expanded its 18-year partnership with ABB, a global leader in electrification and automation, to modernise ABB’s global hosting operations and strengthen its digital backbone for innovation and resilience.

Under this multi-year deal, TCS will implement ABB’s *Future Hosting Model* — a modular, AI-powered IT infrastructure designed for predictive operations, faster service restoration, and enhanced security through its Zero Ops framework.

The move will help ABB accelerate its *Core Platform* vision focused on modernisation at scale, self-service, automation, cloud agility, and resilience.

*“Our extended partnership with TCS strengthens ABB’s ability to deliver value to customers. By modernising our hosting operations, we’re creating a foundation for agility, faster innovation, and improved reliability across the business,” said* [*Alec Joannou*](https://www.linkedin.com/in/alecjoannou/?ref=theleftshift.com)*, Group CIO, ABB.*

*“At the core of this engagement lies a shared vision: technology must serve a higher purpose – to empower people, enhance agility, and drive intelligent, responsible operations. Together, we embark on a transformative journey to build a platform-driven core that will unlock unprecedented levels of efficiency, autonomy, and innovation for ABB’s global business,”* [*Anupam Singhal*](https://www.linkedin.com/in/anupamsinghal/?ref=theleftshift.com)*, President, Manufacturing, TCS, added.*

TCS’ AI-driven managed services will ensure minimal human intervention, improved efficiency, and sustainability through a cloud-first, data-driven approach. The partnership will also support ABB’s business integration across mergers and acquisitions while reducing its carbon footprint.

[Peter Alkema](https://www.linkedin.com/in/peteralkema/?ref=theleftshift.com), Global Head of IS Technology and Platforms, ABB, said, *“ABB is committed to building a modular, scalable hosting service that drives agility and innovation. With TCS as our strategic partner, the Future Hosting Model strengthens this commitment and ensures operational excellence.”*
