The next generation of AI agents won’t just provide answers, they’ll generate analysis, recommendations, and actions grounded in enterprise data. I’m excited to share a preview of something that we at Snowflake have been building to make that possible: Project SnowWork. A platform designed to help business teams turn simple requests into real, data-driven work. ❄️ https://lnkd.in/ggyPD7jP

The launch comes as many organisations continue to struggle with bridging the gap between AI’s potential and real-world results. While existing AI assistants can generate responses, they often lack access to enterprise data, business context and governance frameworks required for decision-making. This has left teams reliant on technical experts and slowed down workflows.

Project SnowWork seeks to address these challenges by enabling users to submit outcome-based requests rather than technical queries. The platform’s AI agents then execute multi-step processes autonomously, including identifying relevant data, performing analysis, and generating deliverables tailored to business needs. The goal is to move beyond simple answers and deliver completed, decision-ready work.

"Whether it’s building a board-ready forecast slide deck, creating a spreadsheet identifying churn risks, or uncovering supply chain bottlenecks, Project SnowWork autonomously executes multi-step workflows end-to-end to make action happen. It brings Snowflake's vision for the agentic enterprise to life, where enterprise data, intelligence, and action are connected in a governed way, and we’re excited to build it alongside our customers," Baris Gultekin, Snowflake VP of Product, AI.

A key feature of the platform is its role-specific design. It includes pre-built AI profiles tailored to different business functions, allowing it to understand workflows, terminology and key performance indicators from the outset. This enables more relevant and contextual outputs without requiring extensive setup.

Another core capability is its awareness of enterprise data. Because the system is built on Snowflake’s data platform, it can interpret organisational metrics and business language, producing insights aligned with company-specific requirements.

Security and governance are also central to the offering. Project SnowWork integrates with Snowflake’s existing security controls, including role-based access (RBAC), ensuring that data access remains compliant with enterprise policies.

Snowflake has not revealed when Project SnowWork will be generally available.
