# SiMa.ai Raises $150 Mn at $1.45 Bn Valuation to Scale Physical AI

Physical AI startup SiMa.ai has [raised](https://sima.ai/press-release/sima-ai-reaches-1-45b-valuation-with-500-million-in-total-funding-to-scale-physical-ai-in-humanoids-automotive-and-drones/?utm%5Fsource=linkedin&utm%5Fmedium=organic-social&utm%5Fcampaign=physical-ai-legacy-gpu&utm%5Fcontent=company) $150 million in Series C funding at a valuation of $1.45 billion, taking its total capital raised to $500 million.

The new funding will be used to scale [Palette Neat](https://www.manufacturingtodayindia.com/sima-ai-launches-palette-neat?ref=theleftshift.com), SiMa.ai’s agentic software environment for Physical AI, while also supporting the development of its next-generation silicon.

SiMa.ai builds a full-stack platform for Physical AI, combining purpose-built silicon with software designed to run [AI workloads](https://www.theleftshift.com/microsoft-shifts-more-ai-workloads-to-in-house-mai-models-to-cut-costs/) on physical devices. The company is positioning its technology as an alternative to the expensive and power-intensive GPUs traditionally used for AI workloads, particularly at the edge.

The company plans to deliver hardware capable of 1,000 dense TOPS of compute, with products including machine learning IP, chiplets and systems-on-chip expected in the first half of 2028.

SiMa.ai said the new hardware will target medium- and high-end drones, humanoid robots, automotive advanced driver assistance systems and AI-powered cockpits. Existing customers will be able to migrate their applications to the company’s next-generation architectures.

The round was co-led by Fidelity Management & Research Company and Amplify, with participation from Alter Venture Partners, Dell Technologies Capital, Maverick Capital, +ND Capital, Point72 and StepStone Group. AllianceBernstein, Baron Capital, J.P. Morgan and the State of Michigan also joined the round as new investors.
