ServiceNow and Anthropic Partner to Embed Claude AI Across Enterprise Workflows
ServiceNow has already deployed Claude to more than 29,000 employees, with early usage showing up to a 95% reduction in seller preparation time.
ServiceNow has announced a multi-year partnership with AI developer Anthropic to more deeply integrate Anthropic’s Claude models into its AI platform, enabling customers to build and deploy AI-powered applications and workflows across mission-critical business functions, the company said this week.
Under the agreement, Claude becomes the default model for ServiceNow Build Agent, the firm’s AI-driven tool that lets developers and non-technical users alike create agentic workflows that can reason, act and execute autonomously.
ServiceNow has already deployed Claude to more than 29,000 employees, with early usage showing up to a 95% reduction in seller preparation time, the announcement stated.
“ServiceNow with Anthropic is turning intelligence into action through AI-native workflows for the world’s largest enterprises,” said Bill McDermott, chairman and CEO of ServiceNow. “This partnership is … reimagining how work gets done. It puts the power to build, deploy, and scale mission-critical applications into the hands of every person, in every industry, at every level.”
Anthropic’s CEO and co-founder Dario Amodei added, “A common error enterprises make with AI is to treat it as a kind of ‘bolt on’ tool… But the way to get much better results is to make AI an integral part of how you get work done.”
The collaboration aims to accelerate time to value for customers by integrating Claude into ServiceNow’s implementation lifecycles, targeting up to a 50% reduction in deployment time, and extending agentic solutions to key sectors such as healthcare and life sciences.
The deal also expands internal use of Claude, including Claude Code for engineering tasks, while offering enterprise customers governed, secure AI controls through the ServiceNow AI Platform.
Analysts view the partnership as part of ServiceNow’s broader strategy to deliver AI-native enterprise automation at scale amid strong demand for generative AI tools.
