Stockholm-based freight technology company Einride has raised about $100 million to accelerate the rollout of its autonomous and electric freight solutions. The funding round included support from existing backer EQT Ventures, a global U.S.-based asset management firm, and other investors.

“This funding allows us to grow with our customer base and accelerate the deployment of our autonomous freight technology. It’s a strong signal of confidence in both our team and our unique position in the market,” said Roozbeh Charli, CEO of Einride.

Founded in 2016, Einride operates one of the world’s largest fleets of heavy-duty electric trucks and has developed its proprietary Saga platform, which integrates digital planning with electric and autonomous vehicles. The company aims to tackle the freight industry’s persistent challenges, including fragmentation, emissions, and labor shortages.

“We believe Einride is building the most complete and forward-looking freight ecosystem on the market today,” said Ted Persson, partner at EQT Ventures. “Nordic tech has a habit of being underestimated, until it quietly rewires an entire industry. That’s exactly what Einride is doing in freight.”

The raise follows strong growth in 2024, with sales more than doubling and expansion into Austria and the UAE. It also includes a strategic investment from IonQ to explore quantum solutions for complex logistics challenges.
