TechWolf’s platform uses a proprietary data model called a “context graph for work” to continuously map an organisation’s work and skills. Rather than relying solely on traditional HR data, the platform analyses task-level work, the skills employees possess and apply, and developments in the external labour market, connecting these insights to a company’s broader business strategy.

For SAP, the [acquisition](https://www.theleftshift.com/salesforce-acquires-listen-labs-to-give-ai-a-better-ear-for-customers/) aims to make this work intelligence a strategic component of its enterprise AI and human resources offerings. TechWolf is expected to become a core part of the SAP SuccessFactors portfolio, supporting areas including skills mapping, workforce planning, organisational redesign, hiring, reskilling and internal mobility.

> *“TechWolf’s proprietary context graph for skills and work provides an excellent grounding layer for agent queries regarding work and skills planning and talent management. This grounding layer perfectly matches our strategy. It makes token usage more efficient, lowers the cost of deploying workforce agents and will make Joule more intelligent in AI-driven HR scenarios such as skills-based hiring, workforce planning and role redesign,” said* [*Manoj Swaminathan*](https://www.linkedin.com/in/manojswaminathan/?ref=theleftshift.com)*, SAP Autonomous Suite President & Chief Product Officer.*

[SAP](https://www.theleftshift.com/sap-selects-tcs-in-5-year-deal-to-transform-its-it-landscape/) said existing joint customers are already seeing measurable results from the companies’ partnership. Following the acquisition, the two companies plan to co-develop AI-powered products focused on workforce and skills optimisation, while SAP intends to integrate TechWolf’s technology more deeply into its portfolio.

> *“Organisations everywhere are trying to figure out how AI is reshaping work, and what their workforce needs to look like because of it. We have spent eight years building the evidence layer to answer those questions. It’s always been our mission to connect skills, tasks and work to help employers solve AI transformation, and joining SAP will allow us to extend that mission across a broader set of business context and larger scale,” said* [*Andreas De Neve*](https://www.linkedin.com/in/andreasdeneve/?ref=theleftshift.com)*, TechWolf CEO and Co-Founder.*

TechWolf is expected to remain an independent entity under De Neve, headquartered in Ghent with offices in London, New York and San Francisco. Its platform will also remain available to both SAP and non-SAP customers.
