Salesforce to Acquire Process Intelligence Firm Apromore to Boost Agentic Automation Capabilities

Salesforce announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Apromore, a leading provider of process intelligence software that enables organisations to discover, simulate, and optimise business operations.

The deal, expected to close in the fourth quarter of Salesforce’s fiscal year 2026, marks a major step in the company’s efforts to strengthen its agentic process automation capabilities.

Interestingly, in 2025, the CRM leader has acquired more than five different companies, including the $8 billion acquisition of Informatica.

By integrating Apromore’s technology into the Salesforce platform, customers will gain a unified, real-time view of how their business processes operate across front, middle, and back-office systems. The move aims to enhance visibility, efficiency, and automation within enterprises.

“Apromore gives customers the end-to-end visibility they need to understand how their business truly operates,” said Steve Fisher, President and Chief Product Officer at Salesforce. “As our teams integrate Apromore into Salesforce, that insight will be critical to enabling our customers to unlock opportunities to measure, optimize, and automate through agentic process automation.”

Apromore’s suite of tools offers end-to-end process visibility, root-cause analysis, digital twins, and simulation capabilities—helping organisations continuously measure and refine process performance.

Its integration will also support Agentforce, Salesforce’s AI-driven automation platform, by mapping workflows and identifying automation opportunities tied to key performance indicators.

“Joining Salesforce is the ultimate acceleration of that vision,” said Marcello La Rosa, CEO and Co-Founder of Apromore. “The majority of our customers already deploy our technology on Salesforce and now, we can help enterprises around the world eliminate operational blind spots and drive measurable improvements at an unprecedented scale.”
