Salesforce Appoints Mankiran Chowhan as Managing Director for India Sales & Distribution

Salesforce has named Mankiran Chowhan as its new Managing Director, Sales & Distribution for India, reinforcing its commitment to expand in a high-growth market. The move is part of Salesforce’s broader strategy to deepen customer engagement and accelerate business momentum in the region.
Chowhan has been with Salesforce for over three years, most recently serving as VP & Business Head – Financial Services & Consumer Industries (FCI). Her prior leadership stints at SAP and Avaya equipped her with strong expertise in enterprise technology and customer-centric solutions.

Salesforce India has grown impressively over the past five years, with revenue surging from approximately ₹2,500 crore in FY20 to ₹6,590 crore in FY23 (a 50% year‑on‑year rise), and further to over ₹9,116 crore (exceeding $1 billion) in FY24—a 36% increase. The workforce expanded from 2,500 to 13,000 employees across major cities.
