Salesforce Acquires Moonhub to Bolster AI Hiring Capabilities

Salesforce has completed the acquisition of Moonhub, an AI recruiting startup known for developing the world’s first AI Recruiter.

The Moonhub team will now join Salesforce to help accelerate its AI ambitions, particularly in support of Agentforce, Salesforce’s AI agent strategy.

The partnership builds on an existing relationship, as Salesforce has been both a customer and investor in Moonhub.

“In this next chapter - Moonhub’s talented team will play a key role in advancing Salesforce’s AI strategy, including Agentforce,” Nancy Xu, CEO at Moonhub, said in a LinkedIn post.

Last month, Salesforce entered a definitive agreement to acquire cloud data management company Informatica for $8 billion in equity, excluding its existing stake.

The acquisition also aims to enhance Salesforce’s AI agent platform, Agentforce, by integrating Informatica’s metadata management, MDM, and data governance tools across services like Data Cloud, MuleSoft, and Tableau.
