[SailPoint](https://www.theleftshift.com/sailpoint-unveils-ai-powered-identity-security-upgrades-to-protect-ai-agents-and-machine-identities/) has announced a multi-year strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services ([AWS](https://www.theleftshift.com/aws-launches-strands-labs-to-boost-open-source-agentic-ai-innovation/)) to build a unified identity governance framework for the growing ecosystem of AI agents and non-human identities.

The two companies plan to expand their existing collaboration to create a single governance layer that manages both human and non-human identities interacting across AWS environments.

The joint solution is designed to help customers enforce access policies, manage identity lifecycles, and maintain visibility and control as AI-driven workloads scale.

*“For AI to be a true business accelerant, it must be built on a foundation of security. Our collaboration with AWS is about providing that foundation. By building a unified identity plane, we believe we will give our joint customers the visibility and control they need to manage the complexity of an AI-driven ecosystem, allowing them to innovate boldly and securely,” said*[ *Mark McClain*](https://www.linkedin.com/in/markmcclainceo/?ref=theleftshift.com)*, CEO & Founder of SailPoint.*

The collaboration will focus on delivering lifecycle governance for all identities, enforcing least-privilege access, and creating a unified identity graph for better visibility into access relationships across systems, applications, and [AI agents](https://www.theleftshift.com/okta-unveils-blueprint-for-a-secure-agentic-enterprise-launches-platform-for-ai-agent-governance/).

*"As customers build transformative new experiences, they need a trusted framework for security and governance. This collaboration brings together SailPoint's leadership in identity with the power of AWS, enabling our customers to confidently deploy and scale their AI agents,"* [*Keshav Narsipur*](https://www.linkedin.com/in/keshav-narsipur-09b58317/?ref=theleftshift.com)*, VP at AWS, added.*

The solution will also integrate with AWS services such as [Bedrock AgentCore](https://www.theleftshift.com/aws-debuts-bedrock-agentcore-to-simplify-secure-ai-agent-deployment/), allowing enterprises to discover, govern, and manage AI agents alongside human identities from a single interface.

*“By leveraging the power of AI through SailPoint's Identity Security Cloud, hosted on the robust infrastructure on AWS, PACCAR has transformed identity into a seamless, automated process,” said* [*Michele Anne Schroeder*](https://www.linkedin.com/in/micheleanne-schroeder-49a897a/?ref=theleftshift.com)*, IAM Manager at PACCAR.*

SailPoint’s identity security solutions are also now available through AWS Marketplace, as both companies look to accelerate enterprise adoption of secure, AI-driven architectures.
