Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses Now Available for Pre-Order in India at ₹29,900

Meta and Ray-Ban have launched pre-orders in India for their next-gen smart glasses, starting at ₹29,900.

Available from May 19 via Ray-Ban.com and select retail stores, the glasses blend classic design with AI-powered, hands-free functionality.

The collection features the iconic Wayfarer in two sizes and a new Skyler frame in Shiny Chalky Grey. Lens options include sun, clear, polarized, and Transitions®, with prescription compatibility.

The Meta AI app syncs with the glasses, allowing users to edit imported photos and continue AI conversations. Support for direct Instagram messaging and calls is coming soon. Current integrations include WhatsApp, Messenger, Spotify, Apple Music, and more.

Powered by integrated Meta AI, users can activate features using “Hey Meta” to stream music, make calls, take photos, go live on Instagram or Facebook, and even get real-time translations in English, French, Italian, and Spanish. Offline translation support is available with pre-downloaded language packs.

Launched in September 2023 as a follow-up to Ray-Ban Stories, the updated glasses feature better design, richer sound, broader app support, and hands-free AI capabilities.

"You’ll also soon be able to send and receive direct messages, photos, audio calls, and video calls from Instagram on your glasses," Meta previously said.
