# Qodo Raises $70 Mn to Scale AI Code Governance Platform

The round also saw participation from investors including Square Peg, Susa Ventures and TLV Partners, alongside industry leaders such as [Peter Welinder](https://www.linkedin.com/in/welinder/?ref=theleftshift.com) and [Clara Shih](https://www.linkedin.com/in/clarashih/?ref=theleftshift.com).

Qodo’s platform focuses on[ code review](https://www.theleftshift.com/openai-launches-codex-app-to-simplify-ai-powered-coding-across-devices/) and governance, evaluating not just code changes but their broader impact across repositories, historical codebases and organisational standards.

The company recently ranked among top performers on Martian’s Code Review Bench, outperforming rival tools in identifying complex issues such as logic errors and architectural inconsistencies.
