Interestingly, OpenAI restored GPT-4o after heavy backlash from users.
Importantly, OpenAI assures that these tweaks do not lead to increased sycophancy. Internal testing has shown no measurable rise in excessive flattery or bias in tone.
The updates may take up to a day to fully roll out. More refinements are expected soon as OpenAI continues to balance technical performance with human-like relatability.
