Observability Leader New Relic Appoints Ashok Khurana as India Country Manager to Drive Growth
Khurana brings over three decades of experience in software sales and leadership, having held senior roles at Google Cloud, Microsoft, Persistent Systems.

Observability leader New Relic has named Ashok Khurana as its India country manager and senior director of enterprise sales. In this role, Khurana will spearhead sales operations in India, strengthen relationships with customers, and expand the company’s presence across key industries.
Khurana brings over three decades of experience in software sales and leadership, having held senior roles at Google Cloud, Microsoft, Persistent Systems, and most recently, HashiCorp.
“With his proven track record of leading highly successful sales teams for some of the world’s leading software brands, Ashok is the perfect fit to take our Indian go-to-market team to new heights,” said Rob Newell, Senior Vice President and General Manager for Asia Pacific and Japan, New Relic. “Ashok has a deep understanding of the unique engineering and business challenges being faced by Indian organisations in the age of AI, and how intelligent observability can help meet their most pressing goals.”
Since opening its Bengaluru office in 2022, New Relic has rapidly expanded in India, growing its team by 400% in 2024 and relocating its Hyderabad Innovation Center to a larger 500+ seat facility.
