Nyayanidhi Secures $2 Mn to Speed Up India’s Justice System with AI-Powered Litigation Infrastructure
The funds will accelerate the company’s mission to build the digital infrastructure layer for litigation in India, enabling faster, more transparent, and cost-efficient dispute resolution.
Bengaluru-based legal tech startup Nyayanidhi has raised $2 million in seed funding led by 3one4 Capital, with participation from DeVC, PeerCheque, Force Ventures, and several angel investors, including Nishchay Ag, co-founder of Jar.
The funds will accelerate the company’s mission to build the digital infrastructure layer for litigation in India, enabling faster, more transparent, and cost-efficient dispute resolution.
Founded in 2024 by Adithya LHS, Chakshu Masagali, and Pratik Pany—alumni of NIT Surathkal, Duke University, and Georgetown Law—Nyayanidhi leverages AI and automation to make legal documentation, translation, and filings up to 10x faster. The platform standardises litigation processes and ensures quality control, creating what it calls a “litigation operating system” for India’s legal ecosystem.
“We are building Nyayanidhi as the digital infrastructure for litigation in India, a platform that brings speed, predictability and accountability to legal work,” said Adithya LHS, CEO and Co-founder. “Unlike vertical AI SaaS, Nyayanidhi partners with advocates to be the humans-in-the-loop who verify AI-driven knowledge work and deliver accurate legal services in hours. Our goal is to help clients reach resolutions swiftly and with greater confidence.”
According to the National Judicial Data Grid, India faces over 50 million pending cases and 20 million new filings annually, with much of the system still dependent on paper-based workflows. Nyayanidhi’s AI-native approach aims to modernize this landscape by digitising end-to-end litigation processes.
“Nyayanidhi is addressing a real gap in India’s legal ecosystem,” said Sonal Saldanha, Principal at 3one4 Capital. “By focusing on measurable results, the team is enabling a streamlined and more reliable litigation process.”
The startup has already piloted projects within High Courts and enterprise legal teams, processing thousands of cases and significantly reducing preparation timelines.
With this funding, Nyayanidhi plans to expand its advocate network, strengthen AI infrastructure, and deepen partnerships with government and enterprises—paving the way for a faster, more accountable legal system in India.
