NES Data to Launch Advanced Edge and Containerised Data Centres Across India
The company is targeting Tier II and underserved regions.

New-age data centre firm NES Data Pvt Ltd has announced the rollout of cutting-edge edge and containerised data centres nationwide, aiming to transform digital infrastructure in India.
The facilities, set to go online next month, will offer modular, scalable, and energy-efficient solutions tailored for AI, real-time applications, and remote deployments.
The company is targeting Tier II and underserved regions, with centres designed for low-latency, high-efficiency performance and rapid deployment.
“We believe edge and containerised data centres are set to democratise data access, enabling low-latency, high-efficiency solutions for India’s AI-first digital ecosystem, particularly in Tier II and remote towns and cities,” Umesh Sahay, founder & managing director, NES Data Pvt Ltd, said.
The compact centres will feature compute, storage, cooling systems, battery energy storage (BESS), zero-touch operations, and hybrid cloud integration.
NES Data says the infrastructure allows enterprises to build resilient, distributed networks and private AI zones while reducing backhaul data costs.
Sahay noted the growing demand beyond metro areas due to rising real estate prices and said cities like Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Vizag, and Noida are seeing increased adoption.
The company is also developing a new edge data centre in Pune, engineered for rapid deployment and modular scalability.
