Nazara Acquires UK-Based Curve Digital for Rs 247 Crore to Expand Global Gaming Reach
Nazara will fund the transaction through intra-group debt

Nazara Technologies has acquired 100% ownership of Curve Digital Entertainment Limited (CDEL), a UK-based publisher of PC and console games, for Rs 247 crore ($29 million), the company announced in a stock exchange filing Tuesday.
The acquisition, executed via its subsidiary Nazara Technologies UK Ltd, includes Curve’s six subsidiaries—Kuju Ltd, Runner Duck Games, and IronOak Games among them—which will become part of Nazara’s portfolio.
CDEL, formerly owned by the Catalis Group, will operate as a step-down subsidiary post-deal.
“Curve’s proven expertise in PC and console publishing makes them an ideal partner as we expand our focus beyond mobile into high-quality, cross-platform gaming. This acquisition deepens our capabilities, brings exceptional IP into our fold, and strengthens our mission in building Nazara as a global gaming powerhouse from India. Curve will also serve as a gateway to the world for Indian game developers,” Nitish Mittersain, CEO of Nazara Technologies, said.
The move aligns with Nazara’s strategy to expand in premium global gaming markets. Curve reported revenues of Rs 263.5 crore and EBITDA of Rs 120 crore in 2024, supported by a portfolio of original IPs.
Nazara will fund the transaction through intra-group debt, with completion expected in 45 days pending regulatory approval. The company has earmarked $100 million for further acquisitions to fuel global growth.
